Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you ("you" or "customer") and the operator of Fidelity Check (the "Service") accessible at patriotdossier.com (collectively, "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, including by placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must (a) be at least 18 years old; (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and (c) not be barred from receiving the Service under the laws of any jurisdiction applicable to you. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these criteria.
2. The Service
The Service consists of a customization form, a payment flow, and the delivery by email of a single personalized fictional HTML document (the "dossier"). The dossier is produced by a deterministic template engine that combines pre-written text fragments with the inputs you submit on the customization form.
2.1. What the Service does not do
The Service does not, in any form or under any circumstance:
- Perform any search, scan, lookup, query, or retrieval against any external database, application, network, or data broker.
- Use any machine-learning model, large language model, or AI inference in producing the dossier.
- Investigate, surveil, monitor, track, locate, or report on any person.
- Produce a "consumer report" under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.) or any equivalent law.
- Contact, notify, or interact with any person other than the purchaser.

3. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
The Service is offered at the price displayed on the checkout page (currently USD $47.00 for one dossier). All transactions are one-time, in U.S. dollars, processed by third-party payment processors (currently PayPal and Stripe). By submitting payment, you authorize us (and our processor) to charge the payment method you provided for the amount shown, plus any applicable taxes.
The Service is strictly a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring billing, no auto-renewal, no trial that converts into a paid plan, and no upsell after purchase. We will never charge your payment method again without a separate explicit purchase initiated by you.
4. Delivery
Your dossier is generated and emailed to the address you provide at checkout, typically within a few minutes after payment clears. A permanent access link is also provided in that email. If you do not receive the email within one hour, check your spam folder and contact support@patriotdossier.com.
5. Refund Policy
7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your dossier for any reason, contact us within 7 days of your purchase at support@patriotdossier.com and we will refund the full purchase price to your original payment method. 6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:
- Present the dossier to any third party as a real investigation, real consumer report, or factual document.
- Use the dossier, or any element of it, to make any decision regulated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act or any equivalent law — including employment, credit, housing, insurance, professional licensing, or eligibility decisions about any person.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, intimidate, defame, stalk, or harm any person.
- Submit the personal information of any third party in violation of any applicable privacy, anti-stalking, harassment, or data-protection law in your jurisdiction.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or systematically extract our template engine, document content, or website.
- Use the Service in connection with any unlawful activity, in any jurisdiction.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse service to anyone, to suspend or terminate accounts, and to withhold or claw back refunds where these Terms are violated.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all text fragments comprising the template library, the dossier presentation, the website design, the brand name, and the underlying engine, are our property and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read the dossier you purchased. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the dossier or any component of the Service, except for your own personal viewing.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND THE DOSSIER ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT.
THE DOSSIER IS A WORK OF FICTION. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT ANY STATEMENT, SCORE, FINDING, REFERENCE, OR NARRATIVE ELEMENT IN THE DOSSIER IS TRUE, ACCURATE, OR COMPLETE WITH RESPECT TO ANY REAL PERSON, PLACE, EVENT, OR INSTITUTION. NO PORTION OF THE DOSSIER MAY BE RELIED UPON FOR ANY DECISION OF ANY KIND.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, OR OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE OR THE DOSSIER, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO US IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Service or the dossier (including any presentation of the dossier as factual to a third party); or (c) your submission of any third party's personal information in violation of applicable law.
11. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 6 (Acceptable Use), 7 (IP), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), 13 (Governing Law), and 14 (General) — will continue to apply.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the merchant of record listed on your payment receipt is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual-property rights.
14. General
14.1. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14.2. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Service, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.
14.3. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14.4. No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
